Music Monday: Stefanie Heinzmann

With it being just over 4 weeks before I go to the Download Festival, I’m going to try doing a thing of having this Music Monday and the next three be related to Download in some way. Headlining on the Saturday is Metallica playing their self-titled 1991 album, also known as The Black Album. One of the tracks on there is The Unforgiven, covered here by German singer Stefanie Heinzmann. Not sure about anyone else, but I don’t think I could forgive her for ruining this song!

Also, simulated rain. That might make it worth having a look at.

Something a bit easier for me to listen to is her own song, Unbreakable. Let the food fly! Shame that the guys get more of the mess, but what can you do? Still a fun video anyway.

Next week, not sure. I’ll look into Butcher Babies, Halestorm, Marmozets, Kobra and the Lotus and Nightwish videos, since they’re all bands with female members. You’d think at least one of them would have something…
